Gah, I missed this for so long.  Hope its not too late to submit!

1. Mastodon-The Hunter
2. Steven Wilson-Grace for Drowning
3. Devin Townsend Project-Ghost
4. Eisley-The Valley
5. Darren Korb-Bastion OST
6. Dream Theater-A Dramatic Turn of Events
7. Bright Eyes-The People's Key
8. Polkadot Cadaver-Sex Offender
9. Braids-Native Speaker
10. Fair to Midland-Arrows and Anchors

Bastion OST and Braids have basically no chance even if I put them in the top two spots, but fuck it I listed them anyways.  More people need to know about both.  Besides, improving Mastodon's standing in popular polls on this forum is a noble cause anyways in my book.  :D

I still can't believe this hasn't made anyone's list. Surely it qualifies on the band name alone, and the pressing of these and release of these was done in 2011.

Porcupine Tree - Anesthetize (4 vinyl set with booklet)

I might even change my list so that this gets it's deserved votes....

HEY GUYS.........I DON'T THINK YTSE LIKES PORCUPINE TREE.......................ZOMG..............................WHAT NEWS............................................................!

Playground didn't hit me right away, but it's really grown on me the last few months.

I also didn't realise, until I made this list, how much metal I've been listening to this year.

Thanks for your list, I hadn't heard Redemption before  :tup
And thanks for everyone arguing about The Color Spectrum, this had passed me by but after checking it out now I love it.

While I think previous albums of theirs are great, I just didn't think their latest disc was that good.

Yeah, I can only imagine. Although I heard stories that he didn't quite deliver at Lowlands, but what the hell, I must see him live.

Hmm 3 1/2 is good but could be better. I didn't notice any of the frustration the reviewer talks about, I was just entranced by the atmosphere of it all. It was so good.

Quality disc.

I only make so much money, and local poker and backgammon games are drying up.

You'll bankrupt me someday though.

Nick, this dating thing has got your mind all messed up...Iconoclast #5?  Number freaking 5??!??!??!??!??!? Ahead of Pendragon, Arch/Matheos, Scale the Summit, Redemption, Myrath, Haken, Fair to Midland, Evergrey, TDH, Amorphis, and The Anabasis?  And that's just stuff I know you should have and like.  Is Allen or Romeo giving you blowjobs on the side?  I just looked, and I have 30 albums that I would say are hands down better than Iconoclast, which gets extremely boring after the title track.  12 of those are albums I wouldn't expect you to like, but that still leaves 15 albums (you have DT, Flaming Row, and PoS ahead of SyX already).

You deserve all of these.

Hell, you even make Homer Simpson facepalm.

I expect better from you Nick.  Others, not so much, but as someone who gets as much music a year as I do...
