I don't understand the logic of a clear 7" vinyl of an album track.  Seems pointless to me.  I could understand doing it for an alternate version of it or something unique.  I was really hoping the LP would be clear vinyl.  Oh well, can't afford it anyway.

Is there a mistake in the preorder? Because it says in the german store that the vinyl edition includes the 2 GB USB stick with the stems, the 2 disc deluxe edition and the 7"" vinyl of The Bigger Picture.. Sounds like a mistake or else the limited edition is nonsense..

Ordered the box set, I'm a sucker for those things. £69.99 looked like a sweet deal until tax and shipping was thrown on top But hey, they threw in a high quality MP3 of The Enemy Inside as part of the order which is cool. I no longer have to listen to the compressed stream. This song certainly grabbed my attention more than On the Backs of Angels did. I look forward to the albums release and the UK shows in February.

I compared it to the american version of the site and there's only the vinyl and digital download.

Yeah... that's probably a mistake. I doubt you'd get all of that for 19 euros. I'd keep an eye on it, it probably won't stay like that for long.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. With this pricing the limited edition would be pretty pointless.. Should be corrected in a few hours

I'll wait for it to be out physically. I only hope the digipack isn't the same quality as BC&SL. The non-reinforced cardboard packaging for my copy of that is falling apart. While, ADTOE on the other hand works just fine.

So my question is that the Box Set mentions a 30 minute documentary. Is this the same DVD that comes with the CD/DVD combo meaning the DVD is only 30 minutes? Or does the Box Set have 30 additional minutes?

I really want to buy the box set, but I'm not sure I can justify it. There's no Canadian store because the Canadian version of every American site ever sucks (I'm starting to think it's actually a law or something).
After shipping and exchange, it's about $122.50 CAD, and that's assuming there's no tax or customs fees. I may end up just getting the vinyl online, and picking up a CD copy on release day.

It sounds like the DVD is a 5.1 mix of the album, and the 30 minute documentary is on a USB stick.

I'll probably buy the standard edition from a local CD shop, but given some bad experience I had with them I may end up pre-ordering the album as well.

Share is not the right word, and unless RR or someone in some official capacity promotes it on a video service then there will be no sharing of it here.

If the base price were closer to $75 USD I probably would have ordered it already. The extra stuff you get in addition to the CD/DVD and vinyl is neat, but I don't know if it's $50 USD neat. The FLAC digital versions are a great thing for them to bundle with the vinyl, but they become a bit redundant if also have the CD.

I mean, there's a good chance I will end up buying this anyway, but it would be a much easier decision if it were a little cheaper, or if there was another thing in it (I have no idea what). Maybe if you got stems of every song.

It's not redundant to have the FLAC if you have the CD depending on what the SOURCE for the FLAC was.  CD's have a bitrate limit too, so if the FLACs were made from a CD.. then yeah it's redundant. If the FLACS were made from the masters then they'll be worth it.

I'm holding out to see if the Deluxe edition pops up on Amazon. That way I don't have to pay shipping at least.

At $19.99, I think I'll hold off on pre-ordering. I'm almost confident either Best Buy or FYE will have this baby for under that, at least release week, as part of some special promotion.

I'm excited about the package though. It looks a lot better than ADTOE and I love the inclusion of 5.1 if it's been done well (who did it this time?). The vinyl looks good too. Unfortunately it doesn't come with the 5.1.
