A very good point! Due to details I can't discuss, the doctor will personally contact us with the results, as opposed to use getting a lab report, which is what we got this last time.

WHERE'S THE POPCORN EMOJI!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we remember; still hoping it all turns out in your wife's favor.

So quick update, if anyone remembers.

My wife just saw a specialist who didn't seem too concerned and pointed out various normal things that may have caused the results. She did a redraw today and we'll hopefully get the results in about two weeks. If it's good, then great. If not, then that won't be fun.

Sending positive vibes and strength your way!  :heart

You obviously won't know until you know, but hopefully the specialist is right to not be too concerned.

Good luck.

This.

That's a big positive and something to help her somewhat relax for the next two weeks mate.

We are all crossing our fingers for you both.

Have you tried running the training in one type of browser, say chrome, and then using another one like firefox to browse?

I feel like this is my work around for work training videos that pause if you click another tab.

It never fucking ends!!!!  >:( :censored

Starting working out again, lightly. Did the Chest press machine a few times. A few days later I have deep chest pain, breathing hurts etc.... Yesterday the pain was so intense my wife took me to the ER. They thought I was having an AEORTIC DISSECTION!!! Richie Faulkner immediately came to mind! Chest X-Ray, EKG, and 2 blood tests (4 hours apart to make sure) later, not a Heart incident.

They said its possible its just deep muscle strain. Is this a joke????

Our best friend died of an aortic rupture a little over a year and a half ago. He complained of feeling pain in his lower back, actually.

Yeah, you probably just pulled/stretched a muscle that hadn't been stretched in a while.

That's awful, I'm sorry!!! My wife just started saying her lower back hurts, now I'm freaked out because she never complains of pain, its been 2 days... At what point do you start to fear that if you don't mind me asking, in your friends case?

Really? Damn!! I had a chest X Ray but for my heart, not sure they would see that.... It could be anything but they chalked it up to muscle strain. I can barely breathe without pain, when I swallow food it hurts.

I've popped mine twice in the gym.  Lasted about 6 weeks each time.  Hurts to move, breathe heavy, sneeze cough, you name it.  A bitch to train through too.  Not saying it's what you have but could very well could be.

Oh, it was when it was happening. It's not a two day thing. It's the lower cavity filling up with blood.

Don't worry! If she had that, you'd know it.

Could be something completely different mate, just reading what you wrote and thought of the couple of times I did it and had similar symptoms.

Yeah, I did some training through it, but it wasn't pleasant.  Mind you, I'm a fucking idiot, I just spent the last fourth months running and lifting with back fractures, so don't listen to me.

I will say man, getting stressed and anxious won't do anything for your injury.  The more tense you are the worse it could probably feel and possibly prolong your healing.

Youre 100% right Kade, i'll get throught it. It felt pretty good all day but starting hurt. Time for flexeril. I appreciate your advice my friend.  :)

wolfking

Just give it a couple of days mate and it'll settle even more.  Once you get a few days of the injury progressing and getting less and less intense, your mindset will change knowing you'll be out of it in a few more days time.  :tup

Though I've never officially been diagnosed with the latter, I have had multiple rib injuries - breaks, fractures, and strains of the cartilage and muscles in between - and the latter hurts to even think and it's not limited to the lower back.  It's pervasive.

It appears I have been banned from Reddit for good. Their automated mod tools have improved to the point where I can't have an account for more than a few hours before it's permabanned. I don't even need to post anything. Whatever script they run must know based on either your IP, your phone number, or accounts associated through gmail.

It all started a few years ago when someone posted a really good looking plate of cinnamon rolls on r/foods. I made made some stupid comment about them looking so good, I wanted to get them pregnant. Anyway, I was banned from that sub for saying what I did. I was later banned from r/askreddit for a comment that I didn't think was controversial, but was flagged as hate speech. I really liked participating in both of those subs, so I created an new/alternate account so I could continue to participate.

As soon as I posted in r/askreddit again, their automod tools flagged me, and I was banned immediately from the sub. About an hour later, I was banned from the site as a whole (first time) for circumventing a previous ban. So I created a third alternate account and decided to just not post in either of those subs. That worked for about four years until I slipped up and accidentally replied to a comment in one of them, resulting in another permaban from the site. I made a new account, and that one lasted about six months before I slipped up again. I guess for a long time, it was mostly just the subreddits that used those kind of detection tools, but it looks like Reddit as a whole has begun to utilize them. Any alternate I create gets the hammer within 24 hours regardless of my activity.

I've moved onto this new site called Lemmy. It's the closest alternate I've found so far. It's only got 50K users at this point. I'm hoping it sticks around.
