DT made a video for Wither. Good stuff.

Truly a great video not just by DT standards but pure music video standards as well. It really captures the spirit of the band at this point in their career and Wither captures the emotion really well.

Also pantless Portnoy FTW.

I think this is the first time I've watched it!  :lol

It's certainly not one of my favorite DT songs, but I'd say it's probably the best video they've ever made.

It indeed is a very good video, but I still prefer the video to Lie.

It's grown on me immensely since I first saw it - originally kinda just saw it as a silly tour video, but now I quite appreciate the "artfulness" of it. However, I can't watch it without pausing on the crowd scenes to try and pick myself out. Still not managed. Although there's one guy who looks a lot like me. I'm pretty sure I never quite made it to the front row, though. Always second or third.

I adore the song Wither and the video, very tasteful.

The video just makes me feel at home with DT, as weird as that sounds. It makes me proud to be a fan of a band that just seems so genuine.

Keep fucking rockin', DT. :metal

Reminds me of the moment I found out that the end of SFAM is the beginnig of Six Degrees (and so on) and I pulled my (at the time) girlfriend aside to show her.  Astonishment in my eyes, the look of boredom in hers . . . it's good to be the DT fan.

*update*

Hahah, just noticed that I meant to post this in the Great Debate thread . . . ole Jack Daniels steered this post over here though.

Their best video. It's not as cornball as some of their metal videos, not as lame as some of their really old videos, and it manages to actually be a video I am proud to watch. Unlike something like A Rite of Passage, where the video was cool, but I knew non-DT fans would be like WTF? With Wither, non DTers could watch it and be like "OK, metal band, fans get into the music, they have fun backstage. I dig."

Funnily enough, it kind of relates to the thread. :lol

Good video, actually helped me to appreciate the song more, I was completely bored with it at first, now I've grown to think yeah it's an alright song, it's nice... still nowhere near their best though by a lonnnng shot.

It's nice to watch the video and get warm and tingly about all the different gigs I've been to though, especially the bit where the curtain drops down in the middle somewhere, gives me chills.

I love the song and the video...I thought it was very well done

Half of my posts are satire; the other half are serious. If you can't tell which half you're looking at, it's probably the former. I enjoy busting chops amongst likeminded fellows. Where better to feel at home than among the fans of the world's most fun band? :)
