I call shenanigans until there's no official statement.

That Voices's cover video really helped then.

Okay, who did this?

:rollin

I'm pretty sure he could nail Mike's roles.

Just imagine Animal doing backing vocals on A Nightmare to Remember.  :metal

Oh god please someone change it to Kevin Moore

Gadough

Yeah, it now says Kevin Moore is a member and Jordan Rudess is a former member.

This is...immature.

Seventh Son

This is precisely why wikipedia is not a valid source.

Oh shut up. It's a great place to collect a ton of easily accessible information. Plus it's more of a hub than a source given the number of links to the actual sources. You're acting like Wikipedia is still in its infancy where it was the cool thing to fuck to pages whereas it's actually heavily moderated and you'd need to need to be downright dumb not to notice if anything was wrong.

In cases like this I agree with you, but to be fair Wikipedia does contain a lot of erroneous information about a lot of topics and it isn't always easily noticeable.  But yeah, I use it all the time, and as long as nobody's trying to cite it in a scholarly publication or whatever, it's great.

MetalManiac666

Yup.  It sure would make things easier if I could cite it for a school paper though.  The links at the bottom are useful though.

It's a tertiary source, and it's one that can be edited by anybody.  Yes, it is a helpful general source of information and is incredibly useful.  But it is inherently unreliable for the reasons in my first sentence and should be viewed as authoritative in very limited circumstances.

I never said it wasn't a hub for general information. I use it for that purpose plenty. But using it as an actual source still isn't a good idea for the reasons that bosk laid out.

If you do a research, it is a good starting point to have a general idea of a topic, but it is worthless as a credible source.

You guys are probably gonna get the wiki page for DT locked.  :P

skydivingninja

Now it says Keith Moon is the drummer under "current members" on the bottom of the page.

Seventh Son

And now it says Satan is a member of Dream Theater.  :|
