They brought back the Ytse Jam!

YESSS!

Ohhhh, I remember someone saying that they'd never play the songs from WDADU any more as the other guys weren't that into them. I have never been more delighted to say "what an absolute crock!"

UAGM is interesting as an opener, but Peruvian Skies as a closer is the weirdest. And, perhaps, pretty convincing as a stroke of genius. The build-and-release... I'd've never thought to end with it, but that's damn cool. Crescendos nicely. Forsaken and Endless Sacrifice I've heard plenty enough of on the past three tours (four for ES), but 5/7 ain't bad.

And I forgot to mention These Walls! Not been played since OVM tour, and they didn't play it much on that. Ace song. Brilliant!

Peruvian Skies isn't the closer.
Wait, they're still playing!? Shit, I figured that was just a six-song festival set or some such.

Brilliant!

Dynia

Oh wow, amazing setlist. That's decided, I am going to Katowice to see them at the end of july. So many great songs here... I can't skip this tour.

I'm really hoping the scenes song isn't TSCO.

I have a feeling that it's going to be.
Me too...

Ditto. I hope, that if they do a song from BC&SL that it isn't "A Nightmare To Remember" or "A Rite Of Passage"... I'd much prefer "The Count Of Tuscany", but if their set list is 90-100 minutes at most, that'd be cutting it close as they're about to 60-65 minutes so far, and with at least an Awake and Scenes songs left (assuming they do CIAW and TSCO, bringing the total up to 75 minutes), they may not have enough time for TCOT.

Am I the only one adding each song to a playlist as it's announced, and listening on a five-or-so minute delay?

petrucci07

Do they still think that the fans actually enjoy Forsaken? I have a feeling a lot of us would rather see something better. Then again, that's just me.

Infinite Cactus

Somebody ask who is doing the backing vocals. Just JP, JP and JR, a vocal harmonizer or samples?

aurorablind

And im guessing that On The Back of Angels will make an appearance as well.

Studio Forsaken is meh; live Forsaken (saw it on CiM) was surprisingly good.

I predict Lie and Wither.  Gotta slow it down at some point again.  Plus, not much time to do a big one from BC&SL, and ARoP has been done enough.

No, I'm doing that as well. I'm at Peruvian Skies now ;)

I'm shooting that the next will be 6:00, beyond this life and on the backs of angels as the closer.

I'm sure it translates well live, also, they probably like the song themselves .

I actually enjoy it.

I'm sooo much looking forward to hear The Great Debate. I really hope they will keep this one on every setlist through tour.

Same! Classic.
I hope they close with Octavarium, play something good from Awake (Mirror? 6:00? CIAW?).

Saw it on BCSL tour, but aside that - ditto! It's a nice enough song on the album, but live it brings the house down. Very cool.

Endless Sacrifice, on the other hand, this is... I said the fourth tour running, in the other thread, but they'll've played it on the TOT tour (duh!), too, so it's its fifth actually. I've seen them four times, and seen Endless Sacrifice three. Ready for a break.

I only just found out this was happening, so I went straight into The Great Debate, but nonetheless, absolutely loving it.

Ahhh! I can't add On the Backs of Angels to my playlist, bastard Roadrunner not releasing the mp3. Still, first chance to hear it in context with other DT songs. Excellent times.

Incidentally - how killer do we reckon Mangini was on The Great Debate?

Close to 70 minutes so far in the set list. I wonder if we'll even get songs from Awake or Scenes or BC&SL? Or perhaps they'll close with ACOS?
