I am so going to Manchester! Don't care if it costs me a weeks worth of food at uni - I'm going!

Millais

no way! Uncle Petrucci has only gone and hooked up Periphery to support DT for all the European tours. There is absolutely no way I am missing this!

Didn't they sold out it in 2007? 'Cause i remeber MP talking about that. And about 2009, it was just half of the place was made available because of low tickets sales?

Metropolis pt.-1

Definitely going to Wembley! Second time seeing them there and my third time seeing DT in total. Also, I was wondering, is it going to be totally seated, because on another site that were getting ready to sell the tickets it just had seated £32.50 tickets and other seated tickets that were more expensive.

Millais

anybody got any ideas of when tickets for Wembley are likely to go on sale?

Glasgow Clyde Auditorium. All seating for a start  >:( plus I was really hoping for "an evening with". I see Periphery are supporting. Can't say I have heard of them. I will be waiting to see how much ticket prices are, as gigs are becoming ridiculously over priced these days  >:(

is this already sold out?

DarkLord_Lalinc

Maybe they're brining a bigger stage production this time around? That may justify bigger places/ticket prices.

The words of the co-founder of VoicesUK:

"Not that I'm supportive of any band charging 50 quid for tickets (I fondly look back on the days when I saw DT for about a tenner in '93), but above the point has been raised that there better be a corresponding leap in the stage show for DT...

When we interviewed JP and MM, JP confirmed that they are substantially reworking their video presentation for the upcoming touring, and it will be far and away superior to anything they've had before. I suspect this could be part of a package of improvements that "might" have added to the ticket price (given when they originally started doing the whole platinum pass thing, the revenues were ploughed into the production).

Last DT tour, Kerry and I went to see Porcupine Tree with Jordan and the high standard of their video production made an impact on all of us. JR definitely talked to the other members of DT about the video, based on conversations we had with others over the next couple of days. IMO, I reckon we could maybe see something of that kind of quality and style being incorporated.

Not that this fully excuses an industry-wide screwing of concert go-ers - lets not forget this is not just DT (e.g. we will be going to see Mr Big in Manc a week on Saturday and that is over 30 quid each and is only in Academy 2!)."

Ah nice :D
thanks

I wonder if the Poznań, Poland show will have some kind of Six Degress of Inner Turbulence feature/play through as it would mark 10 years that it was released...

russellmania

So has there been any word of them adding a Denver show to this tour at some point?  What are the odds of that happening?

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

They ended with Under a Glass Moon?

Did they do anything special for that song to make it a closer?

Regardless, that's a bad-ass set! Lots of new songs!

skydivingninja

Very surprised that they played Beneath the Surface and the Silent Man, SHOCKED they didn't play Breaking All Illusions.  And yet its still a fantastic set.  The only bad song in that mix is Endless Sacrifice.  I'm more sad that I can't see them now. :(

petrucci07

Not at all what I expected. I thought they'd open with OTBOA, then either close the main set or encore with Far From Heaven/Breaking All Illusions.

cyberdrummer

IdoSC

Wow, master setlist is already pretty damn huge, compared to the other ones since 2007. Awesome.

As I Am

After seeing the first 2 sets, this is how I'd put together the setlist:
  1. Bridges In The Sky
  2. Under A Glass Moon
  3. These Walls
  4. Build Me Up, Break Me Down OR Lost Not Forgotten (Rotate)
  5. Endless Sacrifice
*NO DRUM SOLO*
  6. Forsaken OR Wither (rotate)
  7. YTSE JAM
  8. Take Away My Pain OR The Silent Man (rotate)
  9. Beneath The Surface
10. On The Backs of Angels
11. Peruvian Skies OR Caught In A Web (rotate)
12. Through My Words
13. Fatal Tragedy
14. Breaking All Illusions
encore:
15. Outcry

Flacracker

I better be getting a show with Breaking All Illusions and Under a Glass moon. Pull me under as an encore? Lol.

zepp-head

You DO realize they've used that as an encore countless times I hope.

The Curious Orange

I'd rather see Breaking All Illusions than Outcry, but then I'd much rather see The Silent Man and Beneath the Surface than Wait for Sleep and Far from Heaven.

And I've actually seen UAGM live more times than I've seen PMU...

So which setlist is better? There's only one way to find out -

FIGHT!

Ditto... and given the trends, looks like Toronto will get Setlist A.  Only beef is that they did Forsaken on the ProgNation 2009 tour.  It's a great song live, but we just saw it a couple of years ago.  Oh well... you can't please everyone all the time.  It's gonna be a fantastic set/show no matter what.

Hello all!

New here. Have seen DT live 4 times already and look forward to the Berlin show on January 30. I want to listen to both BAI and Outcry off of the new album
