If I can listen to something called Temple Of The Balls, I suppose I could try Crazy Lixx.

That Crazy Lixx was alright.  I didn't really get into the last one both the two before it were really awesome.  I'll check it but I think the last one slipped by as my tastes are changing not so much the bands fault.

Stadler

I'm a Kiss and Whitesnake fan, so there's not a lot of shame when it comes to the music I listen to, but even I might keep "Temple of the Balls" under my hat.   :)

jingle.boy

There is no "of the".  It's just Temple Balls!!  All Balls deserve to be idolized.

Temple Balls are actually a very cool hard rock/metal band.

Cats In Space played my town on Thursday so I felt compelled to go. I'd heard some of their songs but wouldn't say I particularly knew them I enjoyed the show but it was a bit cheesy at times.

Yeah, I really liked that one too.  More generic than the first song but liked the darker atmosphere of it.  The solo was a little weird though.  The guitarist is hilarious, so overdramatic.

jingle.boy

Agreed ... it was definitely Lords Of Black "by-the-numbers".  But I like dem numbers.

Still seems a lot better than all the other stuff I've heard from them.  If you're saying it's similar, I'm not sure why I think that.

That is indeed the real Sam Fox. I would recognise them anywhere 😳

:zydar:

When I was a teen, Sam was a page 3 model in the Sun newspaper, appearing topless. I was a pretty decent artist and I used to draw the page 3 girls for practice . I remember doing a picture of Sam and my dad said that if I put as much time and effort into the rest of the picture as I did the tits it would be incredible!

I thought her singing was great too.

Can't wait for these guys' album.

I kind of dug that.   I have no idea who "Nestor" is, but I might check that out.

Check out their other songs 1989 and On the Run.

I'm off to see the Quireboys tonight. They're playing a pub not 5p0 yards from my house and it was only £5 a ticket so it would be rude not to. I quite liked their A Bit Of What You Fancy album but can't say I know anything else by them.

Should be fun.

 Admittedly that would be cool, but no.

It was a very good gig at an "intimate" venue.

I can't decide if I like it or not. I kinda do. :blush

Their new album is actually quite good. I laughed when I first saw the band name and for a goof I sampled it then bought it.  :metal

I'm a big Hanoi Rocks/Michael Monroe fan so the fact that they're from Finland is interesting to me. There's a certain quality to it.

Temple Balls ❤️

On tour with Toby Hitchcock?  :lol

wolfking

Checked out one of their songs the other day.  I hated it.  It could have been a cover though.

jingle.boy

Not softcock, and not shit. This guy fronted an album last year by an outfit called Sinners Blood, which was one of my top albums of the year. Kinda sounds like a young Russell Allen.  This is surprising that it's written by Del Vecchio, it sounds pretty good to my ears.

Anyone here listen to Vega? They are one of those bands I just lumped in with the cookie cutter Scandinavian AOR bands that bore the tits off me. I noticed that they are playing a pub I go to see bands fairly nearby so I gave them a listen.

For a modern AOR band this new album is pretty good. I think I'll go see them.

Praying Mantis are on at the same venue on Thursday so going to that one too. I just had a listen to some of their earlier stuff and it's pretty good. A more AOR direction than many of their contemporary NWOBHM colleagues.

I used them in a roulette a few years back - their Sanctuary album was killer.

Lowdz

I see there is a new album from Murder Of My Sweet, and strangely it's a sequel to another band's album - the very great Mind's Eye album A Gentleman's Hurricane. how very prog... the link is songwriter, drummer, keyboard player, producer Daniel Flores.

Apparently it follows the daughter of the hitman from the first album.

Vega are grossly underappreciated.
