yup, best album since The Fool I think.  lush and warm and mature.

Just found this awesome band Cannons.  Like Warpaint mixed with vaporwave, awesome production.

ah, will check it out.

Which this thread reminds me how I failed to find a copy of the new record on Vinyl at more than 1 of my local Record Stores in MN after originally waiting on it.

Even though I usually like to support my local Record Stores, I may just have to order a copy online soon.

which by the way, the new Black Belt Eagle Scout record  "The Land, the Water, the Sky" is quite good and like most of Katherine Paul's music, definitely has its Warpaint moments.
"I have facility enough that I can throw down something, and play it, and play it correctly, and play it in time, but that doesn't make good records.  What makes good records for me, is when you capture a performance or you get some feeling that you get on tape and that you know you can't plan for it" -Kevin Gilbert

I've been wanting Radiate on pink vinyl, but it's UK only and very expensive

bump.

I hadn't realized til just a bit ago how Warpaint is opening for The Postal Service/Death Cab for Cutie tour including in Minneapolis this comng Saturday at the
Armory.

However, I'm not sad about skipping this show per they're not headlining and the price ($147+ before the tm fees).

What I don't get is why they did not seem to actually share this tour on their Instagram. At least the show on Saturday isn't.
I actually could have seen The Mars Volta last Tuesday for less, lol. It's also my wedding anniversary this weekend, so it's probably for the best I would be curious to find out how well they get received from the Postal Service/Death Cab crowd though.
