My favorite mixed drink, in the sense that it's never failed me, is the Screwdriver.  The fact it's easy to make helps a lot.

Can't go wrong with a good Screwdriver OR a good Harvey Wallbanger.

People have mentioned about bloody Marys, but I really don't like the taste of tomato juice, so I jus tcouldn't do it.  My dad makes red eyes, beer and tomato juice - it's about the only way he'll drink beer.  Yuk.
