I don't see why DT12 CAN'T have any boogies in it. Maybe a waltz and a tango too. I'm serious.

The perverted tango, ala Frank Zappa perhaps?

Now that would definitely be a dance of.... Umm.... I just can't think of it... Like, this one will last forever, you know? Like, something to do with love... Like love is the dance of.... Argh, it's just not coming to me!

Sweeties both of 'em (and the candy) really.

rumborak

You know, I wish somebody recorded a whole song's writing session, edited it and made it accessible. I would looove to know how they go about it.

I could totally see though how that would descend into a massive shitfest for the fans. "Why was James' suggestion overruled?!" etc. etc.

I hope JP sang "The gift we bring your majesty" when he gave them to MM.

They kinda did something like that in the "Making Of Train Of Thought" video, although these are only short clips. So I definitely agree with you. That would be awesome to watch.

Kotowboy

I know that pic owes a lot to perspective but MM really does have enormous hands.

He does, and he doenst shake yours when you meet him. Thats a fact, but not because he is cocky or something, is just beacuse of self care.

Orbert

Steve Howe is the same way.  At Meet and Greets, he'll talk to you, but you do not touch his hands.

The same with Donnati, i was lucky to be the only one on the meet and greet after me the other guys just recieved a fist punch hahaha.. i think it might be a pro drummers rule. i mean is understandable when you realize that their hand are extremly delicate.

Orbert

Oh yeah, totally understandable.  Their hands are their livelihood.  If they actually shook hands with all the fans they meet every day, their hands would be ruined, and obviously that would be very bad.  Politicians have serious problems with that sometimes, shaking hands all day, every day, especially during campaigns.  Their hands literally get rubbed raw.  Yuck.

gentaishinigami

Not to mention you have a good chance of running upon one of those assholes who think you aren't a man unless you turn someones hand into roadkill when shaking it.  Uggh, could only imagine if I was a pro musician and someone did that to my hand...

Not hating on a firm shake, but you know the kind I'm talking about.  It's like they are trying to shatter every finger-bone in your hand or something.

Exactly! Actually MM was very polite he told me: don't take me wrong, is just that my hands are very sensitive after a show since sometimes I smash the kit very hard. And I go through some treatment on my hands wIth and specialist.

Ad I was like: man, who am I to recieve an explanation from you haha.

Great experience btw.

TheGreatPretender

That's why I only shook hands with JLB.

Was it him that says a fan shook hands with him really hard once and he doesn't want to risk damaging his hands ?
