From what I can gather using MP's search, that was the only time.
Looks like it was a cool show, too.

Setlist Scotty

I'd say the reason why is probably based on the fact that none of the promoters in Ireland were willing to book them at the rate DT expects, or they could've gotten better offers from promoters in other cities/countries.

Another possibility is that they just weren't able to fit it into their routing; it keeps costs down to travel from one city that's close by to another, as opposed to traveling halfway across the continent. So perhaps due to the availability of venues in the surrounding areas, it wasn't feasible to fit Ireland into the plans.

And the last thing is that they could have just decided that they didn't want to do any more shows on the current leg of the tour. DT limits the amount of time that they are away from their families, usually to 4 or 5 weeks. The fact that the current European leg of the tour is about 6.5 weeks is beyond that self-imposed limitation, so they are trying to reach as many people as possible, but still being reasonable about how much time they are away from their families.

Keep in mind that the same thing holds true in North America. There are many places in Canada and especially the US that rarely if ever see DT shows, so Ireland is not alone.
Quote from: BlobVanDam on November 13, 2015, 07:37:14 PMAs a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

Silly person. We all know because Ireland is not a real place. Its Scotland West. Ireland only exists in tales of leprechauns and legends.

Can you tell I'm of Scottish descent.

By the way, I am only joking. My tongue is firmly planted in my cheek.

I love Western Scotland, I mean Ireland and its wonderful people with their wee feet and tiny little hands and pots o' gold!

jk

Haha nice. Having just come back from Western Scotland, I mean Ireland, I can attest this fact. When I landed back in the states and woke up to the captains voice, I was left with a headache and a sense of confusion as if I just woke up from an extended dream. I was a bit uncertain if what I experienced actually happened or not.  ;)

I thought it was because Bono wouldn't let them in ... he's not a fan.   :o
