Have just started The Innocent by David Baldacci. I like to read a couple of smaller, easier going books after finishing a big series like that.

My advice is to stick with it. There are a few books in the series that are really heavy going and don't seem to advance the story much, but it picks up at the end. It took me about 3 years to get through the whole series.

My advice is to stick with it. There are a few books in the series that are really heavy going and don't seem to advance the story much, but it picks up at the end. It took me about 3 years to get through the whole series.

This - I also recommend you reading other things between books. Having notes about some of the character that appear several times helps a lot too, as some disappear for a few books just to return later.

It took me a year to complete it, but it was fucking worth it - don't read the official wiki, ignore the awful books covers and enjoy they ride

I'd like to read it but sadly it's not translated to Croatian :/ I may get it on English or listen to audiobook but to-read list is too long

I've got to say, Wheel of Time series are entertaining, but damn it drags a lot in the middle. I think if you can handle the dip in the middle and read up to Knife of Dreams, you're fine, it's going uphill from there.

I think I nearly gave up at book 10 - Crossroads of Twilight. Literally, nothing happens in that book - nothing!  Apart from endless descriptions of characters' clothes and a lot of "braid tugging"

But, I'd invested so much time at that stage I had to finish.

The change in pace when Brandon Sanderson came on for the last few books was noticeable. I think he did a really good job in finishing out the series.

Yeah, this was the lowest point of the series for me. Luckily Knife of Dreams picked up the pace — I'm glad Jordan managed to release a great book in this series before he passed away, and when Sanderson took over the pace became even more hectic. I loved The Gathering Storm and it's one of my favourites in the series, despite the obvious change of writing style.

I finished Mort today and its my favorite discworld book so far. Now I'm going to take a break from Discworld and read something I've been wanting to get to for a long time. Tomorrow I start The Stand by Stephen King.

FINALLY finished Imajica. Didn't love nor hate the book. As much as the book dragged in places, the ending was great. Considering the ending is one of King's weak spots, it was refreshing to read a giant book that had a satisfying ending.

Next up is another Barker book "The Thief of Always". Enjoying it so far.

It showed up on GooglePlay sale and it had good reviews so I thought I give it a try. So far it's pretty good and yes, it's bizarre and I have no clue where this might be going.

So far no mention of David's wong but it has some penis jokes in the first chapter.

Yeah kings endings can be polarizing. I've come to expect that by now.
