Ah yeah. I hate when you make a meal so delicious that you don't actually want to finish it.

Same when you go out to a restaurant and it's so good but not quite a satisfying portion.

My new monitor arrived today. :D I haven't tried it out yet, but it looks beautiful. I can't wait to set it up and try it.

Plus i have a whole 8 paid days off over Christmas.

It's summer with no a/c and too hot in my room to use my main PC (and waiting to set up and try out my new monitor). I'm bored as hell confined to my laptop. Got nothing to do.

You know you've run out of imagination when you can get bored of being able to access any piece of information in the world. :lol

Cool, we're Eizo buddies! :tup I just got an Eizo CS240 (24" 1920x1200 AH-IPS). I just set it up, so I'm still adjusting to it. Haven't even calibrated it yet. First impressions are that the size is perfect, I don't need to adjust the text size. I was hoping the blacks would be a little deeper, but I knew that IPS didn't have the best black level, and I'm coming off a CRT here, so I'm used to good blacks. No dead pixels, consistency looks great, colour temperature is warmer than I'm used to, but I knew I always had my colour temp too cold in the past, so this looks more neutral. Refresh rate is better than I expected.
The only disappointment is that it only came with some awful micro Displayport cable, which I can't use because my PC has a real Displayport port, so I'm stuck with DVI until I can buy another cable. Not a big deal, but 10 bit colour will have to wait for another day.

No more vacations for me this year, but tonight Mrs. P and I are spending the night up-town to do some Christmasing. Looking forward to that, at least.

Not going anywhere, I'm not the going away vacation type.
I rather stay at home and enjoy music toys, computer toys, or toy toys to play with.
