 :heart Nocturnal Rites.

Stream - Stream. Kind of what would happen if a power metal band were told to make a Guns n Roses album. But I enjoyed it

Velocity - Impact

Plini - The End of Everything

Guthrie Govan - Erotic Cakes

The title track is immense and probably my favourite song of theirs  :metal

Guthrie Govan - Erotic Cakes

I had to think about Stream................Eric Singer's band?  Can't remember much about it.

If you have the Erotic Cakes CD it was worth a mint last I checked.

Sacul

We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service: I'm not really a fan of The Low End Theory (it's just too boring), so took some friends a bae to make me listen to this new one. And it's good! Definitely way more interesting in every sense. Prob too political for my tastes, but good music here, digging that jazz-rap sound.
For Long Tomorrow: Wow, I'm really not into math rock but this is excellent. Quite a chill, beautiful album with lots of post-rock and a few electronics here and there. Amazing drumming, although I feel sometimes it's a bit overplayed. @Parama, @Zantera, check this one out.
Caravan Palace: Hell yeah, electro swing. Quite catchy and fun. Yup I dig it.
Here Be Dragons: Very interesting record, a very experimental one - kinda like an electronic darkjazz album? There's even a bit of trip-hop here as well. Also I love that cover.
The Assassination of Julius Caesar: Fuck, probably AOTY for me rn. So catchy I can't even.

Plain old iTunesim afraid. There is a rerelease cd on Amazon for £10.
The Stream was on YouTube and yes, Eric Singer has been in the band. This album has Jay Schellen, David Reece, Dave Spitz and Peter Scheithauer  on guitar (never heard of him 😀 But he's ok)

Mew: I'm really loving Visuals, there are a few tracks that don't stand out too much, but it has some really solid songs.

Massive Attack: Been meaning to check out this band for quite some time, Sacul recommended me this album so I went with it. I really enjoyed it, such a chill sound. I do think it is something I have to be in the mood for, but it was pretty suitable for a pretty hungover morning  :P At times there's a little bit too much cheese for my tastes tho  :P

Ayreon: It has grown a little bit on me, but it's not too special. I really love some moments tho, Zaher Zorgati's vocals for example, they are a surprising good fit for Ayreon's music.

One of the weirder albums by Peter. He hadn't quite found his sound yet, there's still some Genesis influence on there. Very fragile album.

TAC

Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
