Very AC/DC sounding. Reminds me a lot of What Do You Do For Money Honey. I like it, but the vocals are a bit of a letdown imo.

Apparently I got a toll fine while I was in LA a few weeks ago.  I know exactly what I did but didn't realize I got busted, also didn't do it intentionally.  I was on my way to the airport and the traffic was so bad that I switched my GPS to Waze to reroute me, which it did and saved me 20 minutes, but it definitely took me to an onramp to the highway that placed me into the express lane.  I immediately got out of the lane once I got into the highway, but it was too late obviously.  I'm thinking there must have been a sign saying you can't use the ramp unless you have the express pass, but I totally must have missed it since I thought it was odd to get onto the highway in that lane and I was probably too focussed on following the GPS through local roads I didn't know.  $25 fine for that, but Hertz also topped a $30 fine for "the transfer of the toll ticket to my name" what a joke.     Oh well

We use EZ Pass for heading over the Bay Bridge to the beach and it often works great. Well one time we were headed down and I guess I went through the gate too quickly because the light didn't go green so I slowed down, rolled down the window, held the damn EZ Pass out the window, nothing happened, I keep sloooooowly rolling forward, arm outstretched, and then the loser alarm (loud buzzer that tells everyone you didn't pay the toll) goes off as I head through towards the bridge. I was pissed.

Never got a fine, never got a notice, nothing. Maybe they snapped a picture of the license plate, saw me trying to pay, and just debited the associated account...? No idea.

EZpass is great.  I know for a fact I've gone through tolls (NJ is toll land, you better have an ezpass if you want to drive around this state) where the EZpass signal showed I didnt pay or didnt register or even wasn't in my car (oops) but I've never once gotten a ticket from them and I assume it's because they catch your license plate and are able to apply the charge without raping you.  I'm not sure on that, but Im not sure how else I've never gotten an ezpass ticket.

I just felt like a dolt because there I am with a line of cars behind me, arm out the window waving around my ezpass like a numbnut because the damn sensor wouldn't read it, while the machine buzzes at me like I'm the class dunce.

Maybe they cut me some slack because they felt sorry for me.

My one friend has his little act he does to avoid tolls.  I've heard stories of people who do it, but I've only seen him do it in person and multiple times.  I've also heard about this move catching up to you and getting hit with a multiple thousand dollar fine, but that's all on him.  He pretty much drives up to the exact change booth and throws loose change (maybe a few cents or a nickel) waits a moment, honks, throws his hands up in the air, looks at the camera and gives a sign like the toll is broken, then drives away.  He says he hasn't gotten a ticket, but one day he just might.
