@Sacul: give Dirty a listen. That and Goo are my go-to Sonic Youth albums.
I already have Daydream Nation planned but I'll go with Dirty after it.

All my natural instincts are begging me to stop
But somehow I carry on, heading for the top
A physical absurdity, a tremendous mental game
Helping me understand exactly who I am

Rikard Sjöblom's Gungfly: Please Be Quiet

Fantastic album! I've noticed a lot of references to "Son of sun" in Gungfly's material. Whiskers has it as a lyric; there's a short instrumental near the end of the album called Son of Sun which reprises the backing wordless vocals from the Whiskers chorus, then on the 2017 album On Her Journey to the Sun, there's an instrumental called Keith (The Son of Sun).

The Walrus

Not right this minute, but in about an hour when I get home from work... I am jamming the whole Hemispheres record, and probably Permanent Waves, as loud as I possibly can without enraging the neighbor.

the first Rush album I ever listened to as a child age 10: Different Stages. "Learning that we're only immortal for a limited time" is appropriate and inappropriate at the same time (because the album opens with Dreamline remember)

Seemed this one was the most appropriate, given his struggle to even get to the point where this record could be made.

I was so fortunate to see the first show on that tour, their big comeback in Hartford, Connecticut in 2002. It was my first RUSH show. I had become a fan with Test for Echo. I LOVE Vapor Trails. Next up on my play list.  :heart

Well, this is obvious.  Probably my second favorite live DVD ever.  What a feeling for 40,000 Brazilian fans going crazy over the fact that they are seeing Rush in person for the first times ever.  I will sadly never know what that will feel like, but at least I get to see this footage.

I think this was the first Rush release I purchased.  Made me a fan, it's amazing.
