Field Music - Flat White Moon

Catchy little album, has a song about Mr. Big's To Be With You.

I managed to get through it all, but no luck this time again. Not much that grabs me, too many ballads/slow songs, an absolutely uninteresting story.

Now I'm spinning Banks Of Eden by The Flower Kings.

I plan on making a run on concept albums as my listening theme for the next few weeks. I'm debating giving TA a spin.

So I just checked, and, uh, you are one of the two who haven't sent.

May is Concept Album month.  In making the list off the top of my head, I've got over 100.  Starting with some 2-album stories.

That was the original on the cassette I bought when it came out.

This is the cover on my CD that I bought years ago.

Nice!  I never got into Gary Moore in the 80's.  I didn't really discover him until around 1992(ish) but once I found him I gobbled up everything he had available including the blues albums.

He was third on the bill of my first concert in 1983, which makes him the very first band I ever saw in concert.
His band..Neil Carter, Neil Murray, and Ian Paice.

He actually has some new material being released in a few weeks. It contains 4 unreleased originals and 4 unreleased covers. Blues, of course. It was a shame when he passed away because he was starting to revisit his rock playing.

Yeah and at only 58 too, that was a bummer.  Heart attack in his sleep.  If you've gotta go, that's a good way to go

The new album is available now. It's up on Apple Music.

And yeah, he was rumoured to be going back to a Celtic rock thing, which I would have been very interested in.

He was my second live gig after UFO. What a musician.
