North American 40th Anniversary tour preshow locations

I'm waiting to hear back from my friend to see if he can get the days off to buy our tickets. If he can, we're doing a sort of half and half type of trip. Gonna be staying at an Air B&B, my other friend got one in Denver for Babymetal and it was nice.

Here's hoping he hits me back soon, looking at a spot that's not too bad.

Dreamtheater.net shows several shows as sold out:  Philly, Raleigh, Atlanta, Chicago, Northfield (OH), Montreal, Boston, DC and NYC.

Odd that Montreal is sold out, but Toronto isn't even close.

Orchestra and pit are sold out for LA.  Looks like the 200 section is only about 50% sold.

Wheeling, WV has tons of good seats available for less than $100.

In Toronto, they have been booked into a hockey arena that seats 8,000. They were never going to sell that many tickets. Not sure why this was done. Historically they have played Massey Hall or Meridian Hall, both of which are 3,000 seats or so.

They clearly went bigger this time.  Some spots it worked out, others not as well. It seems like generally it's been good though turn outs though and seems like at least some spots are turning out better than ever before. 

The Met in Philly is 3.5 capacity and sold out.

Never been but it's close by so that makes things simple.  Looking forward to it, but first.. philly!

The preshow in Philly has now been moved back slightly to 4:45.  An ending time of 6 PM has now been added as well for the 'official' get together.

The slight problem is that the foundation normally opens at 5:30.  So much for anyone who wishes to get together before the preshow starts.

FWIW:  the Learjet medivac plane crash last Friday night was nine miles to the north.  The tanker explosion two years ago was nine miles to the NE.
