Fringe was one of the best surprises ever.

I almost gave up on it during the first half of the first season, but I figured I'd stick out till the end.  Good choice for me.  Man seasons 2 and 3 are soooo good.  What a quality jump for the show.

I kind of lost interest around the beginning of this last season, but I'll just have to man up and watch the episodes some day.

People should watch Veep.  JLD is absolutely killing it.

Seconded

I've seen about 3 episodes, in no particular order, and really enjoyed all of them.

No kidding, that show is incredibly funny.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and love it.  DVR's the others.

Veep is also proof that JLD hasn't had facial surgery or botox: she does this thing where four or five emotions play on her face at the same time.  It's really amazing.

Mad Men, what a ride last night.

Also, as far as Adventure Time goes, Memory of a Memory and What Was Missing are the best episodes I've seen.

I've watched 6 episodes in Season 1 of Fringe so far, cool stuff. Most people say that it gets better around s2-s3, so that sounds great. :)

Good F. Overall the finale was only alright, but the cliffhanger was just too good.

Alright, I got my own place with a 98" screen projector with plenty of free time in the evenings after work to watch some shows.  Try and stick to shows that are available on Netflix Streaming or Amazon Instant.

Some shows I've watched for reference:

Dexter
The Wire (just started Season 4)
The Office
Big Bang Theory
Doctor Who (Didn't care too much for Torchwood after 2 episodes)
Community
The Walking Dead
LOST
Battlestar Galactica

Shows I want to watch:

Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad
*insert suggestions here*

What season of Torchwood did you watch? In my experience it's a rather mixed bag, but I'd highly recommend season 3.

Other shows:

Sherlock (the BBC series)
Parks & Recreation
The League
Peep Show
Mad Men
Archer
Louie
Spaced

For dramas, work on the rest of the Great Ones.  That means Deadwood, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and The Sopranos.

As for comedies, Sigz has pretty much got you covered.  I'd add The Thick of It and Veep.

I watched the first two episodes from Season 1.  I'll check out season 3.

I've seen both seasons of Sherlock on BBC.  :tup

Thanks for the other suggestions, I'll get started on a few and let you know what I think.

After the last two episodes (Peggy then Lane), I have no idea what they are going to do with the finale.  My guess is that it has something to do with Dow Chemical and I bet they get the account.  It would move the firm into less of an underdog role and give them somewhere to go next season.
Winger would be better!

I for one think Don and Megan are heading for divorce. If not this season, early next.

To anyone who's a fan of Deadwood, I would recommend checking out Alan Sepinwall's rewind through it (he's working on the second season right now).  They're very informative, especially because Jim Beaver contributes to the comments every week (and Keone Young (Wu) showed up recently, as well).

Happy Endings? Anyone?
Best sitcom I have seen since Arrested Development and Community.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

Best sitcom I have seen since Arrested Development and Community.

Watched most of season 1.  Was really good - like Friends for this decade.  Then it got stale at somepoint, and Mrs.Jingle dropped it from rotation.

Anyone else get the whole "The Eclipse" tone from today's Korra episode? I thought it was pretty amazing. I'm curious to know if that's the real Zuko and Iroh in that fleet. I mean....it's almost 100 later, surely they can't be around. But on the other hand, Mike and Bryan wouldn't get Dante Basco to voice a non Zuko character, right?

My impression was that General Iroh is Zuko's son, named after his uncle.
