Not long to go until the Iron Maiden tour. Who's going to one (or more) of the shows?

I'll be at the International Quebec Festival. It's going to be awesome.

Now is that a festival, or is it just called that??

I don't feel like reading 64 pages, so sorry if this has been answered already.

At the DT headling shows (not DT only), does this mean Iron Maiden will go first? If so how long will the sets be and why is DT dumb enough to let IM play before them?

GuineaPig

The DT headlining shows are the ones where DT is playing with an opening band, and Maiden is not playing.  The DT only denotation is in fact incorrect, as Maiden later confirmed they were playing that festival as well.

Guess I'll be back on the archive thread starting tomorrow night :)

Yeah it's a Festival. It funny, because in French it's called 'Le Festival d'été' which means 'The Summer Festival'. Don't know why they call it The International Quebec Festival :lol

Oh, who else is playing? And are Dream Theater and Iron Maiden getting full sets?

chknptpie

Is this where I can expect to see set lists from both DT and IM?

I think only DT's sets will appear.
I imagine Maiden will keep the same set throughout the whole tour, whereas DT's will likely switch around a bit.

Mladen

Being in a totally different time zone than Dallas, I'll be disappointed if I wake up tomorrow and there's no DT set list.  ;D

It's been confirmed numerous times. That wasn't taking a stab at you, bodiesinflight, that was so setrataeso knew that it's definite.

We have quite big names this year. Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Rush, Rammstein, Carlos Santana, Billy Talent, Black Eyed Peas, and many more. Every band I named will surely play in front of 100 000 people. It's ridiculous because the pass for all the shows costs 40$. SO basicaly everyone in the city has one and comes to the big shows.

That's pretty cool. I'd only go for Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, and Rush though.

I'd so go to that if it was possible

Only the DT setlist will be on here. Considering my timezone, it'll be up in about 10 hours I think.

chknptpie

Very cool, is the IM set list going to be posted anywhere at all?

cyberdrummer

Well I'll post it here, but obviously it won't be put on the first page.

Shadow2222

I'm following a guy on twitter who is at the show.
I apologize if he is wrong for some reason, but according to him, this is the setlist so far:

1. As I Am
2. A Rite of Passage
3. Home
4. Constant Motion
5. A Nightmare to Remember
6. Pull Me Under

This has to be wrong...

NOTE: He may be wrong as he apparently is only a casual DT fan (ex: he called Constant Motion "In Constant Motion")

Ultimetalhead

Well, I'd be slightly disappointed if that was real. At least Rite of Passage, Home, and ANTR are there.

setrataeso

ANTR would not be at that spot in a set.
I'd be quite surprised if that was accurate...

Shadow2222

Well, Constant Motion and Pull Me Under have been confirmed on multiple twitters and at the Iron Maiden FC forum in various threads.
