EDIT:
Were you able to buy the £55 tickets on the DT site McNugg? Won't let me select them. If they are the most expensive option, they're far cheaper than the equivalent at the other UK shows for some reason!

I logged on at 09.40 and they were already on sale. So much for it being 10.00. Managed to get 1 of the £55 tickets. My suggestion to anyone going to Glasgow is try the Royal Concert Hall website 1st. I imagine they'll sell the best available.

So glad they're coming back to Scotland again  ;D ;D ;D ;D
:hefdaddy :tup :hefdaddy I was seriously considering going to buy a Paris ticket the other day - glad I waited! Royal Concert Hall then...I've never been there before, that should be interesting - though presumably all seated again.
yes it's all seated and it's a great venue.

Got my ticket for Glasgow  :tup Didn't want to use Ticketmaster, but had no choice in the end. The venue website still didn't even have the gig listed (it eventually appeared the very second I completed the purchase on TM  but tickets still don't seem to be available).

At first I got row H seat 31, which is quite far to the left. Tried again and managed to get row H again, but much closer to the centre this time. Almost £10 of fees is an absolute disgrace, but oh well - cheaper than all the other UK gigs and much closer to home! It was almost exactly the same price as I paid for the Astonishing Palladium show (same row), but no expensive travel or accommodation to worry about!
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

woop woop got my Glasgow ticket too :D  Front row of Terrace A so hopefully a good view from there.  Now to figure out the expensive part, travelling to Glasgow and a hotel  :-\

So many damn gigs to go to this year, gonna have to save some serious penny lol

Virtual 3D view of the venue here: https://www.pikodesign.com/tour/gch/

If you click the menu button you can see the view from different areas.

Thanks krands85, it's a nice looking venue!

Great to see Spain/Portugal dates added too.  I know with different promoters doing different countries and whatnot it's hard to announce all dates at once, especially since the tour is so soon.  But it would save fans so much heartache if they could announce the whole tour at once instead of dribs and drabs.

I'll be going to Manchester this time around, to make a change from London. Should be a nice change of pace.

Bet I end up going to London too  :rollin

ariich (if you're reading) are you going to a date?

the-glass-prison

Got Row F centre seat. That was on the DT website. Well pleased.

Got my Prague tickets today. Managed to snag a couple of the "Front of the Stage" tickets, which were a couple more bucks over the general admission tickets. Should be fun! Hopefully I can snag a couple spots a bit to the left of JP. Anyone else going to the Prague show?

The Curious Orange

New passport arrived, Eurostar and hotel booked, le Zenith here I come!  :hat :metal

Is anyone following how the shows are selling?
Here in Italy first show in Rome is sold out and the second one is close to be (2600 people each), Milan is going well with more sections being opened every week (i think they've well passed 5000 tickets sold), and Padova is 2/3 full (sold out would be 2500 tickets)

Isn't that Amsterdam venue pretty big?  I'd be amazed if they sold it out.  I really want to see a show there, it's right next to my company's data center.

noxon

Trondheim both nights and Kristiansand sold out instantly (both 1300-1400 seats), Stavanger is about 2/3s sold at this point (1900 max capacity) , and Oslo is maybe 1/3 sold (9000 max capacity).

Schurftkut

the amsterdam one isnt that big (5500), my first DT concert was there and it sold out (6doit tour) They played bigger venues (15000) after that also sold out so...

Got tix for Rome  :metal :metal :metal
So C U there Mike - from Abruzzo, right?

Oh yea, sorry I didn't check the thread anymore  :lol
I'm in gallery 4S, first row. A nice spot, if you ask me: slightly lateral but also very close to the stage. Also, with the lady.

Hi, my name's Nicolas, I'm from Spain, and wrtiting for the very first time in this forum.  :metal
I got a VIP a platinum ticket for Milan show, and I'm travelling from Malaga in two weeks time.
Do any of you have experience in this kind of vip "packs"?
Since I am travelling to Milan on my own without any ticket for the show (just a confirmation email), I'd like to know when do you usually recieve further intructions for the Meet & Greet and so on.
Thank you!

New dates added in Poland, Italy and France. I won't be able to attend the second French show but I'm glad they will tour in a part of France that is usually forgotten.

Yep, and a third show in Rome, Parco Della Musica. Excelent relationship with Italy.

LightCurves

New date, announced by austrian promoter:

Vienna, May, 17th at Gasometer.

Deep Purple play Vienna the same night @ Stadthalle, too bad, so no I&W show for me.

Not a smart decision by the promoters.

Given my current financial situations, I will have to do my best to afford the trip this time around. We'll see.

Indeed. And given its the same promoter for both DT and DP (barracuda) i can only assume they're nuts.

Already got my ticket for Glasgow. I see that there are still good seats available. I was also thinking about going to Manchester too. Train fare is very reasonable. Much to my surprise I was offered stalls row J. Tickets for Manchester a lot more expensive than Manchester though. A bit concerned that some of the dates aren't selling very well.

So more European dates and nothing for US or any other part of the world. I'm starting to lose faith and just praying a DVD comes out. Not the first time, and won't be the last, that dream theater shows no interest in the US. Last time was in 2015 for their 30th anniversary tour.

DT's facebook today said NA dates coming soon.  Be patient.

TheOutlawXanadu

I'm really hoping they come back down to North Carolina. The Durham show I went to was almost sold out. The demand is definitely there!
