Ive seen a ton of people say this and it would be funny if it was actually true. Eric plays all the solos and plays them flawlessly. MP has commented on this, he wanted to use the full Haken band and Eric and he said Eric could more than handle this himself but he thought it would be cool to have rhythms for solos that JP recorded in the studio and be able to do them live.

Bumping this thread since the show is approaching us.

Was wondering if anyone is interesting in doing a meet up before the show being that it's a Sunday so no work to come from making it much easier to grab some drinks/food before hand

Should be in for a meetup beforehand. Nick will be napping on my couch in the morning after flying back in from Chicago, not sure what our plans are beyond that.

How long have these shows been, anyway?
Doors open at 7, and I assume MP doesn't take the stage until 8pm.

I'll likely be taking NJ Transit in, so I'm trying to see if I can realistically make the 11:15pm back to Jersey. If not, I guess it's gotta be the 12:15am

If doors are at seven, that would mean MFP takes the state at 8, and his old man at 9.

Yea, the headliner won't go on at 8. I believe Next to None are the openers so they'll likely go on 7:30 or 8 with MP going on at 9. That's my best guess. You might still be able to catch the NJ transit train at 11:15 if you are OK missing some of the end and catch a cab to Penn Station.

I booked a hotel room so I don't need to worry about catching that long ass 75 minute NJ transit train and it's much closer to work on Monday to just stay there (plus I can hang out around the venue after).

TSF songs were never really my favorite tracks by DT (besides TGP

) so I wasn't always so excitied to see the songs, but more so for the experience. But been listening to TSF tracks today and I am getting pretty pumped for this. Especially for MP's home town crowd, I expect a really fun show.

I'm in the same boat regarding 12S, but TGP alone would be worth the price of admission. And it's a good setlist. It'll be a great show.

Yeah, for me the TGP is easily the best of the 12SS songs, though I do like the other songs to varying degrees. TDS is probably my least favorite of them but I'm still looking forward to watching the guys tackle that ending unison. SETLIST SPOILERS***Seeing as Scenes from a Memory is my all time favorite album from any band, I'm quite happy with the rest of the setlist

Yea, a great selection of the non 12SS songs and I feel the same, TGP is the my favorite and TDS is my least, but those are also the only two songs of the setlist I haven't seen DT play.

Yea, not sure where, but definitely going to be in the city before the show for a meet up. Maybe a bar that'll have the 4pm NFL games on. I'll probably start heading into the city once the Giants are getting beat by the Eagles.
